LGS has 2 CDP's available at $1175...have been back & forth, just can't seem to pull the trigger

Came across a NIB Kimber Solo CDP yesterday, dealer has one left, cost is $1179. Currently riding the fence & haven't been able to pull the trigger. Need a push to one side or the other...I've read the wide spectrum of reviews but am still extremely infatuated with this little handgun, any help would be most appreciated!
Even if I were rich, I wouldn't throw my money away like that.
$1179? What?:barf:

I picked up my new Solo today, dumped some FP-10 on it, and shot the snot out of it!
I didn't count how many rounds I put through it, but, I had to quit because I froze my fingers, and my palm was getting sore.
It ate everything, and ran perfect!:D
I think it will be a fine carry gun!

I tried to pre-order a Stainless one back in Oct, after being told it would arrive by Christmas. The week before Christmas, I was told by our gun salesman that they had not even started making the stainless ones yet. Sssooo...I got the 2-tone version. I LOVE that gun. I have never had an issue with it. It is my secondary carry gun when I can't carry my Kimber Ultra Carry II .45. Being a woman, not all of my clothes fit around the .45 and there are times when I just don't want them to. :) The Solo has been a great gun for me. It replaced my LCP as my smaller carry gun. No regrets. I trust it 100%.

While mine is not a CDP, I will be posting a side by side comparison/review video tomorrow on my blog of the Solo vs the LCP. :)

I found the slide hard to rack on the solo at my lgs. I have plenty of auto's which don't give me a problem but I found the one I looked at very tight. Who knows maybe the tight new fit or my age and some arthritis are showing up. Shame I really liked it but I figured as I age this will not be a keeper so I passed on it.
Just my .02
