what kind of ammo were u shooting? 12" high wow that would explain it. ill take a look at different iron sights online and try aiming lower next time lol. thanks Ford.
ok so I have a 91/30. it does not seem to be counter-bored as far as i can tell. I had been shooting 'hunting rounds' (soft-point approx. 204grain) and hitting target at about 70yds. bought different ammo, this time mil-surp Bulgarian steel-core 146grain. at same distance not even touching...
I want to get a Romanian PSL for going after black bear. found one at Herbs for $799. Any tips would be appreciated. also I have heard that the receivers dont like the higher grain ammo because they are stamped and not milled, any truth to this? and whats a good grain to go with?
Heres my problem. I just bought a WASR 10/63 in 7.63x39, yeah I know 50% of the people I have talked to say they are crap and the other 50% love them. However, it came with 1 just one! preban 30 rnd mag. They are illeagle to ship into NY thats why the retail Herb Phil didnt have any. I know I...
brand new, as in not released, so no I dont have pics because one has not been fully assembled to my knowledge. as for the 105 replacement thats still being developed.
the frame looks nice and for now its gonna have walnut grips. also the replacement for the Remmy 105CTi is coming soon. they said the problems with the bigger shotgun loads has been fixed.
Kel Tec SUB-2000 9mm.
I am not sure what i want to do with this gun. not really big enough for deer is it? I do know a guy who can do hotloads however. the ammo is nice and cheap and the gun itself is very compact.
I also like the SU-16CA .223 REM. does anyone know the factory range of...
I know i want a Saiga but i dont know which one. I just want it to shoot/have. I like the Saiga rifles but also the 12 ga. I cant make up my mind and would like some input from you all because I can only afford one. :(
ok what do you guys think, a Taurus 66 .357 Mag matte stainless steel finish or a Ruger GP100 .357 Mag stainless steel finish? both would be brand new.
I want to get a handgun. something low maintence because I am a begginner. needs to be under $1000. something with knockdown power that wont take my hand off. (not very big hands) any suggestions?
ok i figure i just want to buy and sell firearms and provide limited services so which FFL would be good for that? a Dealer license or a Pawnbroker one because the ATF does not provide any definition for the differences between the two.
ok i understand what you both are saying. what about this, my older friend at work says i would not be able to get a FFL without a storefront or shop-like place to sell out of. is this true?
also that cert course would be through Penn Foster.
i want to become a gunsmith and have found a mail order school for the certification and the FFL. i just want some pointers as i am just a begginner and will not pretend to know much about the trade.
Remington will hopefully begin production of a certian old-fashioned handgun soon, however if this bill passes they will be unable to produce it from their main factory in NY and will have to make it in NC instead. being able to produce this gun in upstate NY will create even more jobs beyond...
I almost bought a 700 SPS but if you just want to 1-up your friend then I would say a Remington 700 XCR in .223 would compete exceptionally well at the ranges your speaking of.
