I just spotted a great looking 03A3 and got very excited until I took a close look. The stock is beautiful, but either never had cartouchs or had the markings refinished out. The swivels, butt plate, trigger/guard, and bands had been nicely painted flat black, and the perfectly green parked receiver had holes neatly drilled for a scope base
The bore was perfect, the trigger polished (or worn) to the point there was no break before fireing.
