is there such a thing
any body recomned a decent semi 22 rifle for a left handed shooter

I'm a lefty, and love my 10/22. Power Custom makes a big-head safety that can be installed for lefties, but that's the only hand-specific mod that I can think of.

Browning used to make a .22 semi that fed from a magazine tube in the buttstock and ejected from the bottom of the receiver. Don't know if they still make it, but it was pretty pricey.

Savage makes some of their bolt-action .22s in left-hand versions, as well.

I shoot my 10/22 left and right handed as most competitions require you to shoot stages in both hands (here in the UK we use them for competition shooting at pistol ranges). It's no bother when shooting leftie. I can't think of a semi-auto that has been a bother shooting leftie in fact - apart from bullpups of course.

another vote for a 10/22 being fine for a lefty. in fact, personally, if they made it for a lefty I would still buy the right hand gun. works great for me to keep my left hand on the gun and work the action and everything with my right hand. In a gun that light I would rather keep my hand on the back end of the gun than the forend. isn't that what they tried to do with the m16 for rightys?
