The Ichihara City, Chiba prefecture Blowgun Club (JSFA) held a competition on Wednesday January 26, 2005 at which Yu Fujimori tied the 10 Meter (33 foot firing line) distance target shooting World Record. Yu shot at an indoor competition, scoring 194 out of a possible 210 points, tying the outdoor score set by Morikuni Matsumoto on June 13, 2004 at the first International Sport Blowgun Competition held at Bear Swamp Archery Complex in Upper Mt. Bethel, PA (USA).
