Good to see what the XTP does. I have some 180gr ones that have Hornady bullets. Read a rumor DT may also ship ammo with other brands of "controlled expansion" bullets.

Curious on what Gold Dots would do. Would they fold back as some have said, effectively becoming FMJ?

I've shot about 200 rounds of Double Tap 10mm over the last few weeks, trying to ignore the cost per trigger pull.

I too am curious about the Gold Dots in 10mm. Brassfetcher.com tested some factory 124g +P in 9mm that seemed to expand very rapidly and only penetrated about 10" or so. Those were only running at around 1200fps. I'm not sure if such a soft bullet would do well in 10mm with 165g running at 1400fps. I may have to order up a box and do some more testing.

Of all the tests I have seen the xtp's or a bonded bullet are the only ones that reliably hold together at 10mm full power velocities.
