Does anyone know if there is some kind of blocking insert to reversibly convert a 30rd standard AR15 or AK47 magazine to a 10rd capacity for legal reasons? I may be moving to California soon and don't want to have to get rid of all my cool stuff.
Several vendors on
calguns sell what you are looking for.
However, after you put the insert in, you have to epoxy/rivet the magazine to make it permanent.
The modification needs to be permanent, in order to comply with CA law and be legal. [PC 12020(c)(25)(A)]
