10rd mags for smith 39-2 ?

i just bought a 39-2, and was looking for an additional 8rd factory mag, when i saw a 10rd mag advertised for this gun.

has anyone tried these?

what brand makes a better quality mag, and what brands should i stay away from?

also, is it correct to think that any mags will fit from the 39, 39-2, 439 539 639? any others?

Stay with factory mags. Your second post is correct. 3904/3906/909 eight and nine round mags work fine but are slightly longer (the nine round mag is current production). 3913/3914 mags do not work - they are too short.
