I was working some old range pickup brass this weekend and found 2 cases that would not de prime.

When I checked to see if the pin was bent, it was O.K.

Checked the brass and found that it had 2 small flash holes instead of 1 large one!

Looked to what kind of brass it was and found it stamped 11.25 x 23 !

I compared it with a Federal .45 case and it was with in .003 "

Can anyone tell what kind of primers these are, add what kind of brass?

I hope the atchment works

I believe that "FLB" headstamp may be Argentinian -- ábrica Militar "Fray Luís Beltran", San Lorenzo, Argentina.

I believe that 11.25x23 is indeed 45ACP. The primer that you see is definitely Berdan primer.

The two holes in the bottom of the case mean that it is Berdan primed rather than Boxer primed. That makes them non (not easily) reloadable. Keep them as a conversation piece.
