Today I took my new BCM 11.5 inch upper out to the range for sight in and a little distance shooting. I zeroed he Holosun red dot at 50 yards with American Eagle 55 grain ball ammo. Like my other BCM barrels, this one is printing 2 to 3 MOA with ball ammo. After sighting it in I took the rifle to the long range and shot it from 300 yards out to 425ish yards. The rifle requires just a little more holdover than 16 and 20 inch rifles at intermediate ranges. Overall I find the 11.5 inch AR to be a real sweet spot for the platform. Very light and handy while still giving a workable trajectory at common ranges.
I also got to try out my Phone Skope to take good photos and video through my Razor spotter.

Photo of the hanging silhouette at 308 yards. The phot does not show how clear the glass on the Razor 85mm really is.

A few videos I took of shooting at 308 and 375ish yards. The target at 375 yards is a bit difficult to see through a red dot. Misses were more of aiming errors than rifle accuracy issues. I tried a gong at 425 yards but I couldnt see splash or hear impacts to get a good hold. Hit it a couple times out of 10 shots. I didnt upload that video, it was bad.

I then tried a couple 5 round strings standing unsupported at the 308 yard silhouette. went 2 for 5 my first try and failed miserably on the 2nd with a 1 for 5. But the 2nd video has good trace in it so I uploaded it.
