12 gauge buckshot. Where is it?

If you go to the Federal Website they usually have 2 ¾ 00 in stock fairly regular along with slugs as well. $7.99/box I believe.

I saw a ton for sale at Runnings and I was just in Kittery Trading Post in Maine and they had a bunch of 25rd boxes of Estate 00 for $24

I have noticed the same thing. ALL i find locally is bird shot.. 6, 7, 7.5 and 8. All readily available. All cheap too walmart cabelas . 5-9$ a box of 25.. doesnt matter the brand.

But buckshot.... cabelas has some.. but they are 5 round boxes.. for 15-20$.

Ive visited 8 stores and none have buckshot. However online. I can find buckshot.. usually 100-150 round cases for about .75 cents a round. I havent ordered any though.


The website i have had good success with is Saint barbs bullets. Th3y had 16ga shotgun ammo for 8$ a box and i paid nothing for shipping for the amount i ordered

Even here in Communist NewYorkistan I’ve been able to get it . Runnings usually has it in stock in the 5 shell boxes. I just picked up some Fiocci in a box of 25 last week. So it’s out there and not at horrid prices even in the People Republic

I ordered 250 rounds of buckshot from ammoboard about a month ago. I got it for .40 cents a round but it looks like its sold out. Shipping is the where most online stores will get you. If your lucky you can find free shipping. Ammobuy.com is an alternative to ammoseek.com and I've had good results there.

SG Ammo has had buckshot in stock recently, as has Ammoman. I have purchased from both places in the past with no issues. SG tends to be a little lower right now, but pretty much all of it is still high, especially the good FliteControl stuff.

Lucky Gunner has some off brand & lots of it. Mostly low recoil whatever that really means, but beggars can't be choosers.
I have dealt with them before and they have been easy and fast to deal with so far.
We have brand names on the shelves at local gun shops, off and on.

I’m trying to find some 00, 1 or 4 buckshot. Preferably 00 and preferably federal or Winchester. I cannot find it anywhere locally or online. Does anyone have a good source?

I seeing plenty at various Academy Sports in Alabama. Remington 5 packs to Estate 25 per box. Availability Getting better for about the last month.

I generally us #4 buck for HD, concerned about overpenetration thru walls. Deer season is coming up in a month and most local stores have slugs and 00 buck in stock snd seem to restock as needed. #4 buck is like finding hen's teeth. I do have a reasonable amount of both, in 12, 16, and 20 gauge.

I was at the Berea Ohio show today and there was an abundance of #4 buck. I bought four five round boxes in anticipation of getting my SDS T02. I've already got a bunch of 0 and 00.
