Okay guys and gals, need some help concerning 2 of our PD's NFA short barrel Remington 870s. They have regular stocks and fore ends with rifle sites. What we are looking for is to replace the fore ends with tradition styled fore ends like they have now but with a sort of schnabel type device on the end to help hold on during recoil and not vaporize a weak head if it got in front of the short tube. Definitely not not going with the Serbu fold down fore end, some of us like the traditional "strap" style that you slide your hand in but some one may forget in a hurry/under stress. Magpul makes one and Remington makes one but we are looking for different options. The Magpul appears to not have enough of a lip and the new MCS foreend from Remington looks to have too much of one. Trying to avoid making stuff our selves due to liability and uniformity. Okay I've talked long enough lets see what you might have and thanks in advance. - Joe Mac
