1400 winchester

I have a old 1400 Winchester that will only hold two shells in magazine is it possible to make it hold 4 in magazine ?

I'm no expert, but just bought one myself and did some research.

It seems it will only hold 2 because the gas mechanism takes up the rest of the tube, no way to change it.

I've seen several posts on this, and that's the answer on all of them.
