Well....sort of. As this was converted fortunately to center fire, my .41 Long Colt was a perfect fit but the entire projectile protruded. Must have been .41 short. Wanting to play with blanks, pulled lead & saw that entire case would chamber. Using Pyrodex pistol with #1.3cc Lee measure, gave me room to seat two 36 cal. felt wads (nice snug fit). Got a nice "BANG" & smoke from the old girl. Wouldn't have wanted to run live .41 shorts in her anyhow. IMG_1357.JPG

Parafin wax (like candle wax) caked about a half inch thick. Push the 41 colt case in and twist once. I'd use just the primer of a verry liht charge of powder. make nice holes in targets to about 15 or so feet

Howdy

Nice looking piece. Brass frame?

Are your 41 Colt rounds the old fashioned ones with heeled bullets, or are you using new brass with bullets that sit inside the case?

Is there any indication of a chamber throat in the chambers or are they bored straight through the cylinder just one diameter?

How about the hammer? Did you have to do anything to it to modify it from Cup fire, or had that already been done?
