Ok, somebody give us some good .17 wsm vs coyote stories. Distance, exit wounds etc.. We can only use rimfire at night here in Mi. And before I spring for one I'd like to hear some war stories. Some accuracy results might be interesting too. Got no room for rifles that don't shoot.

I have 2 , 1 bull barrel ,& 1 hunter weight barrel . I also have a friend with one of the hunter barrels , both of the light weight guns shoot about 2" at 100 my bull shoots 1" to 1&1/4" @ 100 . They put beaver , groundhog , crow , & bobcat down with dispatch out to 200 yards . haven't had any chances past that. I like my bull gave my other away to grandson

Yes they both like the 20 gr better than the 25 gr . a cheap BSA 17 wsm matched scope works fine for that caliber just don't turn it to top power , back off top just a little bit & it stays good & clear. It gets used as a farm truck gun , because it is deadly on varmits at a decent range & cheap to shoot.
