My father gave me this the other day, he got it from his fathers father. Not only do I need a trigger spring but I would like to know exactly when it was made and the value of it. It looks like the spring had all ready been worked over before and maybe even modified. It will be kept in the family and don't plan on shooting it. My father said he shot it using black powder and it worked. attached are a few pictures, one of the broken/worn spring and stamping numbers on barrel. There is no serial number that I can see. If anyone can help me out. Thanks !

W Richards was a sound alike name to confuse folks into thinking they were getting a Westley Richards. Your shotgun was built in Belgium. Decent quality but parts will need to be fitted as you are unlikely to find drop in parts.

Thanks Strawhat, that’s exactly what I have been reading. Is that also the reason why there is no serial number on on it? Just a lot of other markings
