Backround:
now, some may know, I've been trying to sell my Pietta 1858 for a while now, and without much luck. Recently, I put my gun on GunsAmerica hoping for a bigger view. With that came emails wanting to know more about my gun. Hurray! But wait?

-I check my emails, and I realize that most of them say "ooh, I like your gun, but do you have an 1860 Navy/Army/Police...etc for sale?" Also with a few emails to members here inquiring about trading guns, I also get the "if you had an 1860, I would've done it..."

So here's my question:

Does it seem the 1860 models are more popular than the 1858 models? or am I just having really bad luck?

PS, I bought my puppy, she's happy and we finally paid for surgery thanks to my freind's ebaying off a very expensive guitar. Thanks J!

try to sell an 1860 and they'll be whining for 58 Remingtons. There's a string on the muzzleloader forum where everybody is telling a guy that the 58 is the only one to get.
