I'd hold on If I were you if you want to sell it. Check out this thread and you'll see that there is a lot of interest in that gun. Most of us didn't know that it was available until now and since yours is an 05 it ain't nothin new just new to us. Pietta still makes it according to the email I got from them but their market timing must have been off.
If you have a Pietta 1860 and want a belly gun, check with VTI. I think they might have the 1860 snubby barrel for around $75.00. It is not listed in the parts break down so you will need to e-mail them about it. They carry the snubby barrel for the 1861 so they may just have the barrel for the 1860.
Take off your long barrel, put on the short barrel, presto, belly gun.
Just got an email from Pietta stating at this time no US importers are buying the snub nose 1860. I guess our only recourse is to contact our favorite dealers and request the gun.
MyKeal you will have to re-evaluate your opinion about Pietta not answering emails.
