1861 new Navy .36 nipples

Most likely not. Don't you have the old ones to check the size and thread or have some one help you? I believe that 6x.75 mm. was common, if you go to your "help full hardware man" they will have 6x1 mm screws but .75 is a gun thread.
I had trouble finding nipples for a Euro Arms '60, they are a little shorter than most.
 
Thank you 44Dave, I have tried 6X.75 but they are too big, the old nipples measure 5.5mm,Idon't know the thread pitch . I will put the cylinder and a wrench in my pocket when I go to the next gun-show.The original nipples are so bad, up to .008 difference in length, that there is one the hammer will not hit.Replacement is imperative.
