1903 Springfield stock

I have a 7XX,XXX 1903 springfield rifle that I want to find an accurate military style stock for. I got the rifle from my grandfather already sporterized and I would like to try and get it back to the military look. Anybody know where you can but them reasonably priced? I would also be interested in a composite material as long as it had the same shape as the stocks used in WW1 and WW2.

I've been looking for years to no avail. Even when someone chimes in, it's either something that someone used to carry long ago, or a one-time deal.

IMHO, go with a "C" style stock. The original ones were a bit short for folks now days. I have an '03A3 that will get restocked with one.

E-greed usually has military stocks. But they also sell the metal stamps to counterfeit the original markings so most of the "military" stocks on there will probably be Chinese made copies that someone has "touched up".

The CMP has 03 stocks but they are temp out of stock right now and not taking orders. I'm sure if you check the CMP web site once in awhile you can find what you are looking for.
