1911 grip safety gap

Hi,

i got this 1911 safari arms grip frame, which has a beavertail that just doesnt fit well.

What type grip safety could i install to get rid of this ugly gap.

I tried to measure the radius on the frame, it looks to be .220 but i'm not sure if the whole shape is correct.

That looks like a classic example of what happens if you do not fit aftermarket 1911 parts.

Looks as though someone previously attempted to fit a grip safety and failed miserably. Your options now are live with it or have the frame welded up and chose matching grip safety and jig.

i found the answer after a parts swap with a friend.
the grip safety has a wilson combat .250 compound radius, and the frame has a .220 radius.
problem fixed.

Unacceptable. I would be ashamed to show that gun to my friends.

my friends don't care how my guns look...
