hello anyone could send me some idea how to remove the novak rear sight?

the crew thread are tripped not the hex hole

the screw are lose in there there are no way for me to unscrew it out

the sight moving left to right but just cant get it out because of the screw

i dont mind damage the sight it self as long the rail wont get damaged.

thanks

Drill the screw out.

On the other hand, if the sight is free to move, and then stops?

That means the screw is getting tight in the threads at some point.
So get it to that point, and then unscrew it some more.

thanks for the tip i have tried to move to the stop point and unscrew but no luck,
and what you mean to drill the screw out?
should i drill the hole bigger and hope the screw will come out that way?

No.

Find a clearance drill bit that will drill the screw out without drilling the threads out of the sight.

Then, you can replace the screw and go again. (Unless the threads are already stripped in the sight.)

In that case, you can drill & tap one screw size bigger and start over again.
