It is preventing them from dropping free with full authority. Brownells sells a jig that is supposed to be the right width and you can fit the bow to the jig, but is 25 dollars or so which is more then the trigger itself! I tried to find something on this in the clinic thread and through search but came up empty.

Any tips for adjusting the bow so it doesn't drag on magazines?

I adjust mine so that they drag inside the frame,

then I take that out, and make tweak them a little at a time until the trigger is basically "loose" in the track. You can take the trigger out and then eyeball it for straightness, then re-insert and add an empty mag to the well, and kind of feel it out. Trial and error.

ad,
Have you checked other mags as your mag could have a slight bulge and is causing the drag?

No, only own one brand of mag. The old trigger didn't have this problem, it would fling the mag down into the floor and crack the baseplate :p Dang act/novak/s&w/mec-gar mags have wussy baseplates.

Take the trigger out, insert a mag into JUST the trigger bow. Straighten it where it is hitting the mag. Put the trigger back in the gun and make sure it slides freely. Done.
