Hello! Just checking to see if anyone would know how I would go about getting the vintage scope base for my 1950 Marlin 39A? As most of you would know, it mounts on the side of the receiver. Any and all suggestions would be helpful!
The 1950 model wasn't set up for a scope.
Apparently, if you wanted a scope, the factory would drill and tap the side of the BARREL for a special mount.
The holes in the receiver side are for a receiver "peep" sight.
