...WWII Army Brigadier General Charles Baron...it was from his collection. I posted this here because in my other post some members were not especially fond of the engraving so I created a new thread to show this very special factory original NIB 1954 Colt model .357...because it was a first year production with a 3 digit serial number and because of it's provenance. It was also "Lettered" by Colt to prove it to be genuine. This was my 2nd and last of these revolvers in my collection. Now I will present some pictures to share this revolver with you to enjoy:

perhaps I missed something, but what was "offensive" about this?

Nothing was offensive about this.....I just thought that those who didn't particularly care for engraving might like to see this original Python.

Used to shoot a couple of 357 Pythons owned by a buddy of mine. They are indeed deserving of their reputation for smoothness and generally just impress the heck out of those who shoot them. I can only describe Slick6's piece as "stunning" not just in condition but with it being a first year production and with that fantastic, proven provenance. That thing has it ALL.
