1st hand experience with Wilson ADP

I know what MadOgre is saying about this pistol and I believe and trust George. Anybody else care to chime in?
 
(quoting the title again) Does anyone have firsthand experience with the Wilson Combat ADP? First experience in my book would mean shooting it, handling it. Clear enough? I wasn't referring to any thread and don't believe I mentioned a thread.
 
^ Being a little clearer in your title and post would of helped a bit as I had no idea what you meant either.

I have seen people talk about this handgun, but in the pre-ADP version made by whoever it was copied from. I don't recall anybody seeing the Wilson version of it yet, and I wonder if it will ever be made/imported.
 
I would like anyone with first hand experience with the Wilson Combat ADP to chime in with their impression of it.

Well, when you were referring to someone called George and someone else called MadOgre, what else were we meant to assume? Sorry, I'm not psychic.

Alex Du Plessis - South Africa. I handled one over there when it first came out, but didn't get to shoot it, unfortunately.
 
Heritage Arms in Florida has been making something similair for years.
The ADP might prove to be the GAP of pistols in this country.
Kimber's KDP looks more promising.

On a further note. He reviews the CZ100 and hates it, but states that there was a .40 version called the CZ110 but never imported to this country.

Well.. the 100 and 110 are different, and CZ-USA won't import the superior 110 but there are plenty .40 caliber 100s running around.
 
Sorry for all of the lost sleep, pulling of hair, and general consternation this thread has caused. If anybody has any first hand experience with the Wilson ADP, I would like to hear about it.
 
I had assumed many people on this forum knew of the moderator known as George Hill otherwise known as Mad Ogre. Hope everybody's OK now.
 
Ahhh, much clearer, thanks - well, hope someone comes along soon who's actually shot the thing.

I wasn't too impressed with the looks of the little beast, but it may be like a Glock - looks bloody awful but shoots like a champ ;)

Heritage was just importing them, not building them. Wilson is importing them and reworking them... a greatly improved pistol after the reworking. The original guns are not nearly as smooth... not as reliable either.
Kimber's KDP has nothing to do with the ADP... the KDP is very close in design to the S&W M&P pistol.
Saying the KDP looks more promising than the ADP is like saying that the Mercedes looks better than VW Passat... Well, yeah, never mind that they are totally different platforms, but sure.

I OWN A WILSON COMBAT ADP!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

HERES A LITTLE BACK GROUND ABOUT ME I'M ACTIVE DUTY NAVY STATIONED IN HOUSTON,TX. AND I LIVE ONTHE BAD SIDE OF TOWN. I HAVE A WEAPONS LISENCE AND USE IT. I HAVE A DESCENT AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE WITH ALL TYPES OF GUNS!!! GOD OF GUNS I'M NOT BUT I KNOW WHAT WORKS!!! I BOUGHT MY ADP ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO IT COMES STANDARED WITH NIGHT SIGHTS, 2 MAGS, AND A CHEAP CASE WITH ALL STANDARED LOCKS. SO HERE IT GOES AS FAR AS LOOKS ITS A LITTLE ON THE UGLY( I OWN THE O.D.
