I just finished up getting my first SBR assembled. I had the upper and lower Cerakoted in Burnt Bronze. My SBR lower is actually a consecutive serial number to my 16" mid rifle, so I wanted them to be a matched pair. I went with a 10.5" barrel on my SBR and a Midwest Ind Gen 2 quad rail. I still need to add sights and/or optic.

Those came out very nice. I just finished Cerakoting one of my SBR's in Burnt Bronze myself this past weekend, it's a nice color for AR's it seems.

That burnt bronze on black looks absolutely beautiful. Wonderful pick!
I have to say though that, that muzzle device + those hand guards + the given length all together makes the upper look ugly as sin.
But looks shouldn't matter. How does it handle?

They were not done at the same time, so it's possible that one is a little darker than the other. The rifle gets sprayed and wiped down with Rem Oil while the SBR was just finished and dry as a bone. It might look a little darker after it gets sprayed and wiped down like the rifle.

I knew for sure that I wanted to use a flash can of some sort instead of a flash hider. So the KAK flash can was a no-brainer considering the cost of the Noveske "flaming pig". As for the rail, it's my first time using a quad rail on any AR build. I figured that I would actually be using the rail space on this gun, so it made more sense than the modular style tubes. I'm still debating on VFG or AFG then I'll be adding a light of some kind, then I'll have backup irons and an optic also. It's actually the look I was going for, something a little more aggressive than I've done in the past.
