1st try at bedding, how do I deal with the action screws?

If you need to remove any material from the metal, use a piece of nylon stock. I have been able to remove epoxy without scratching the bluing. Good job. James
 
IMG_0329.JPG Some "before and after" groups from the .280 I bedded. I think it helped. Wasn't sure at first, but the last few trips to the range have produced groups all at or below 1" and that was without the barrel cooling at all. Straight 4 and 5 shot groups. That rifle is now shooting how I had hoped.

The final step in getting the groups I wanted was removing the bedding epoxy from under the chamber area. This is before:
