One can always shoot a shorter shell in a longer chamber but not the other way around; and, as mentioned previously, a .410 comes in 2-1/2 and 3", not 2-3/4.I think I've asked this before but I don't remember. This little 410 I got shoots a 3" shell. Can I also shoot 2 3/4 in it without any problems? Thanks.
I've shot some Aguia 12 ga. mini shot shells (1-3/4" ) in my Rem 870. They shot fine but cycling is not so reliable.
But again, shorter shells will shoot fine ion a longer shotgun chamber.
The mini shells are more suitable to a break open shotgun than a pump or semi-auto, but they can be shot in a pump or semi auto if you are willing to cycle the gun manually.
but the 2 1/2” .410 will not work in a Remington 1100. They work with 3” .410 only.
