2 does down this morning finally!!

Put down two does this morning. I heard a shot, and I looked down at my phone, to see the time, and then I went to this forum very quickly. After looking at a post, I look up and see 3 does and a yearling out in the bean field. I haven't shot anything all season, so I grab up my gun and BOOM one doe dropped the other two took off with the yearling just standing there looking my way, I whistle for the does to stop, and one of them stops on the edge of the woodline another BOOM , I let the loud .300 Wby roar again, and another doe down! It was a good morning. Lol

Whew! Good thing you had enough gun! Those does can get nasty if you don't put 'em down! Anyway,congratulations on a successful day.

Thanks, and I didn't think my .300 was enough at one time .

I hope you were using at least 180 grain bullets. You really need the penetration at times like these.

Jimmy, I ordered my bullets from Cabelas because out of the store prices are ridiculous, and 180 gr are sold out right now.

I used 150.
