Someone please explain to me how some guys say they can get 2" groups
off hand at 25 yards in a 10 shot volley.
I think it is B.S.
Comments?

I've seen it done. They're just damn good shots. And they practice, a lot, and they've got the equipment to do it.

Even with a stock gun, they're pretty freakin' good. Me? Nope. But someday I hope to be.

I think I can do that with my Ruger Comp. .22lr pistol.

I have several pistols capable of that like my Wilson Combat which is guaranteed to shoot 1.5" groups @ 25yds and I think my full house custom pistol can do that at least. -not that I'm capable of 2" groupings shooting a .45ACP.

I do know one person who can shoot like that, he can shoot cloverleafs all day, with just about any pistol you hand him. Pretty amazing. He takes his time though and watching him shoot is like watching paint dry.

I'm nowhere near that good yet, but my Mark III Hunter is supposed to be capable of 1" groups at 50 yards in a real expert's hands.

I bought that gun with the longer barrel in the expectation that it was capable of any amount of accuracy that I could reasonably aspire to be capable of.

Well, the best I can do is 3" groups at 50 feet, and I have been shooting a long time, I can't for the life of me see how someone could be that steady at that range, humm, maybe I have to go back and get some training.
Once in awhile I can come up with a 10 shot group around 2" but not often,Hehe.

My SA Champions will do 2"@25yds., with any bullet I load them with, but only if shot off a rest. Offhand I'd probably expect groups in the 6" range.
My eyes are wornout :scrutiny:

Until about 6 months ago, I could do it with my 1911. Not all that hard after you have fired a few thousand rounds.

my giles custom buit colt is capable of 1" groups at 50yrds but im not that talanted however i am able to get 2-2.5" groups at 25yrds easily but as was already stated it is a gun that is made for that task

I'm not a "bullseye" shooter. I could do that back in the day, 24 year old eyes, not 54 in the USMC. Takes a great deal of practice, shooting, dedication, practice, and more shooting. There are people who shoot like that though, very deliberate and methodical.

The black on a TQ7 is 1 1/2 inches. Timed fire is two strings of 5 shots for a total of ten rounds at 25 yards. The upper crust shooters hold the black on a regular basis.

On a good day, and I mean a very good day, I could do it with this pistol.

That's the only pistol I could pull that off with, but the grips fit like a glove and a gnat's cough will pull that trigger. I have more accurate pistols, but not offhand.
