Hi
Her indoors gives you an escape voucher if you promise to be back for Sunday dinner with the outlaws.
Aside from transport to and from you have to carry everything you want on you.

Friday to Sunday
Limits- you personally have to carry the gear- no conga line of bearers to hump your gear for you.
Area you normally hunt at a time you have or would normally hunt.

What do you take and what do you pack it in????

I don't quite follow your first paragraph, but the second seems to say that you need to be autonomous from mid-day Friday to mid-day Sunday? Are you being the hunter or the hunted in this plan?

The first part is just a married mans joke.

For 2 nights away- complete autonomy.
What do you pack?
What do you pack it in?
How do you prioritize what you take?

Don't know what we are hunting, so I will assume it to be big game.

Rifle
Ammo
Hangun
Ammo
rope
meat saw
knife
GPS
change of clothes
rain gear
cold weather gear (if required)
Food (for me, this would require no cooking on a two day trip)
lighter
sleeping bag
tent (if it is going to be wet or cold)
And I would carry it all on a packframe that is capable of carrying out the animal after it has been quartered or deboned.
 
Need more info: Climate? What are you hunting? How far are you walking? Is there water? Etc.
