My local range had an SA22 #II grade on consignment last Saturday that is absolutely gorgeous. Manufactured in '68 and well cared for its in great shape for being 44 years old. Price.... $475
They also had a '64 grade I SA22 with a bit more wear. Muzzle has that grey look of having been shot a lot at one time and then stored in a safe for some several years. The stock is very plain and the TD nut has a bit of wear as well. The asking price is $375.
Of the two I can't decide. I've always liked the lines of this gun but I need one like I need high collesterol.
Anyone have any experience with these? Any thoughts about the rifle good or bad would be appreciated. Pics would be nice if you have them.
