2 Uzi Questions (ammo & optics)

I'm really enjoying my Vector Uzi but have two questions about it.

1) How do these things handle cheaper steel cased ammo such as Wolf or Tula? With surplus 32rd mags $8 a pop over at Midway I'll be going through ammo a lot quicker.

2) Has anybody found a rail which will attach at the front of the weapon? I want to mount a laser but the only rails I can find for sale are from FAB Defence and run around $200.

1) Mine has always handled Euro 9mmP better than the domestic brands, which tend to be pretty anemic. No difference between steel and brass except the cost.

2) The FAB rail is the only one I know of if you want pictatinny rails up front. Stormwerkz sells a rail that can be installed on your top cover. I have one and it shifts about 4MOA every time I pull it for cleaning. I am not saying they all do that, just that mine does.
