I encourage folks to help support the work Knife Rights does, 7 states removed restrictive knife laws in the past 4 years thanks to KR, and get a chance to win some amazing loot by participating in their Ultimate Steel fundraising drawing.

Drawing is in about 2 weeks and there are some beautiful knives as well as some interesting firearms up for the folks that get drawn.

Is "funraiser" a typo or a clever pun? :neener:

They've done some really good work recently, so it's definitely a worthwhile cause. And there looks to be some awesome goodies up for grabs!

That second one looks beautiful! What is that?

Doc,

If you win, sell it and put the money back in for the next "funraiser" and see what ya get (then you can do it over again until ya get what you just can't part with).

Here's how it works, you pays for your chances, they randomly draw, you get a call/email when you're drawn and you pick what's still left that you want. If you're drawn more than once, because you paid for more than one chance, you get to pick what's left each time. You get drawn first, you pick from the entire selection. Second, whatever the first person didn't pick. You get the idea. One year I was drawn twice. Two years, not at all. I considered myself a winner each year since I knew what good work they were doing with the money.

That's pretty cool. I've been to fundraisers where the best goodies were way out of many people's budgets. This gives everyone a chance at the best prizes, but those who can afford to give more still have an increased chance.

True, a guy who spends $20 doesn't have a good a chance of winning as a guy who spends $200 or $2,000, but they can still get called in the first couple of draws and pick the most expensive thing on the list while the guy who spent more may be called after many other draws.
