I would appreciate anyone that has the newer hornady re-loading table if they can look and see the max: load using Unique powder and a 200 grain xtp in the 45 acp
I am using now 7.0 grains of unique but have no idea what max: powder charge is I think it 7.1 but not really sure
and what is there max; OAL

Hornady Manual 7th Edition doesn't list Unique with the 200 grain XTP. Neither does the 5th Edition. Hornady's recommended overall length is 1.230".
Just for some info from Midways 45acp LoadMap. Don't know why but they tested the 200gr XTP HP at the max o.a.l. of 1.275" which is too long for that bullet. Midway used RP cases and RP 2 1/2 primers. Their data for the 200 XTP and Unique powder:
starting loads at 5.5 grains---642fps
6.3--751fps
6.5--779
6.7--806
6.9--833
7.1--861
7.3--888
7.5--915
7.7--942
But they tested at 1.275". You'd have to work up using 1.230" as pressure could increase with the above charges at a shorter o.a.l. than Midway tested. Midway also had higher than 7.7 listed but I wouldn't go above 7.5 myself. Hornady Manual #7 listed velocities with all powders tested from 800-1000fps with Win WSF, Power Pistol, SR4756, and HS6 giving highest velocities.

From my Load Book or use Aliants on line data.
