200+ yd. Range in Florida

Does anyone know of a 200yd + range in south/central Florida, or a farm we could rent for reasonable rates? A couple of friends and I want to hire an instructor to do a precision rifle course, and need a place to do it. We want to cover estimating distances, reading the wind etc and I figure 200 yds. is about the minimum, but longer would be fantastic.

If liability is a concern, our lawyer can make sure our insurance policy is in place.

While this does involve a search for formal training venues, it might well get more responses in Rifle Country. We'll try it there for a bit, and if it languishes, we'll bring it back to S&T.

Well, Sebastian, this didn't get the attention I hoped it would in Rifle Country. So here it is back in S&T as promised. I sure hope you can keep up with your thread.

I think Volusia county hunt and club has a 200 yd range

Webb-Babcock Wildlife Refuge near Punta Gorda has a 200 yard range. $3.00 fee if you don't have a wildlife management stamp. One minute off I-75 at Tucker's Grade.

I find it strange that with a posting name of "Sebastian" you just don't go to the range at Sabastian, Fl. Exit SR 512 0ff I-95, east 1 1/2 miles BIG SIGN-Shooting Range--turn north till you are overwelmed by the sounds of gunfire, and you are their. Closed on Tue. and Wed. Open 9 to 5. Cost about $9.00 per shooter--1 hour or all day--all the same. Yes they have 200yd. firing lanes.
