June 26; 800Agg

July 24; CMP – EIC, 500Agg,

August 21; 800Agg, State Championship**

August 22; 3X600YD – 600Agg Mid Range, State Championship**

September 12; 800Agg***

October 17; 3X600YD*** (*** Gate opens at 7.00am***)



April 11, …..600YD, Long Range Clinic, cost $20.00

May 02,……300&600YD, coached training, cost $20.00









Match Begins:

DUE TO RESTRICTIONS IMPOSED SINCE September 11, 2001, BY THE ARMY, WE NOW ENTER

(C) – CHARLIE GATE, ON RANGE ROAD WHICH IS OFF PINEY ORCHARD PARKWAY. WE WILL ASSEMBLE AT THE GATE AT 7.30 A.M. FOR THE ( June, July & Aug) MATCHES FOR ENTRY. SIGN-IN WILL BE COMPLETE BY 8.00 A.M.; AND WE WILL ENTER AS A GROUP.

FOR THE (Sept/Oct) MATCH, DUE TO SHORTER DAY LIGHT HOURS, WE WILL ASSEMBLE AT THE GATE AT 6-15 A.M.; SIGN-IN WILL BE COMPLETE BY 7.00 A.M.; AND WE WILL ENTER AS A GROUP.

WHEN THE GROUP HAS ENTERED, THE GATES WILL BE CLOSED, IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE GROUP ENTERES YOU WILL NOT SHOOT. FIRST SHOT DOWN RANGE AT 9.00 A.M. ** FOR (Sept/Oct)

FIRST SHOT AT 8.00 A.M.



COURSE OF FIRE:

All Scheduled 800 Aggregate Matches:

Match #1: 20 shots for record and 2 sighting shots @ 200 YDS. Slow fire, time limit 22 minutes.

Match #2: 20 shots for record @ 200YDS. Sitting rapid fire fired in two 10 – shot strings, preceded by 2 sighting shots;

Time limit 60 sec. per string.

Match #3: 20 shots for record @ 300YDS. Prone rapid fire fired in two 10 – shot strings, preceded by 2 sighting shots;

Time limit 70 sec. per string.

Match #4: 20 shots for record and 2 sighting shots @ 600YDS. Slow fire, time limit 22 minutes.

Match #5: Aggregate of Matches 1, 2, 3, & 4



CMP- Excellence – in – Competition Match:

50 Shot National Match Course, NO SIGHTERS.

10 shots for record @ 200 YDS. Slow fire, 10 minute time limit.

10 shots for record @ 200YDS. Rapid fire, 60 seconds time limit.

10 Shots for record @ 300 YDS. Rapid fire, 70 seconds time limit.

20 Shots for record @ 600YDS. Slow fire, 20 minute time limit.



For 3 x 600YD Matches: Prone slow fire

Match’s # 1,2,3: 20 shots for record, preceded by 2 sighting shots, in a 22 minute time limit for each match, for an 600Agg total.

Rifles Allowed: Service Rifle- Rule 3.1 through 3.1.5; Any Rifle- Rule 3.2; Match Rifle- 3.3, 3.3.1, 3.3.3, 3.3.4

and F-Class – (SEE BELOW)

F – CLASS:

F – CLASS, shooters will be welcome for the 600YD Matches. F- CLASS will compete separately

In F-CLASS- Open and F-CLASS T/R – Rule 5.6.1- (.223 and .308 cal rifles with BI-pods)

Awards for F-CLASS will be made if 5 or more F-CLASS shooters register and shoot.



DIRECTIONS TO ENTER RANGES AT FT MEADE



IF COMING OFF B/W PARKWAY GET OFF RT-175 EAST TO FT MEADE. FOLLOW 175 FOR 5 MILES, GO PAST RT-32, TURN RIGHT ON RT-170: PINEY ORCHARD PARKWAY, GO FOR 2.1 MILES, TURN RIGHT ON RIVERSCAPE RD. ABOUT 100YRDS ON THE LEFT IS “RANGE RD”…(RIGHT IN FRONT OF TOWN HOUSES)…FOLLOW RANGE RD DOWN TO GATE UNDER R&R TRACKS.



IF COMING OFF RT-32, TAKE EXIT 175 EAST, ABOUT 1 MILE TURN RIGHT ON RT-17O,

PINEY ORCHARD PARKWAY……FOLLOW THE ABOVE.



SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT

(1). There will be strict adherence to range safety and commands at all times

(2). NRA Rule 3.21 Open Bolt / Clear Chamber Indicator is required to be inserted in all rifles not encased.

Except during preparation period or while on firing line

(3). Alcoholic Beverages are not allowed on FT Meade ranges, food and running water are not available at the range

Rules: Current NRA High-Power rules will govern all matches. Open to all.

CMP Excellence in Competition match is open to all. (**)-CMP rules applied in EIC Match

** Must be a member of a State Association, to complete in State Championship**

CHALLENGE FEE $2.00



Classification: Current NRA high-power rifle classification card or temporary scorebook. Match director may

require display of either to verify classification.



Rifle: For 800 Aggregate matches: Rifle allowed for record firing, there will be two divisions,

Service Rifle – Rule 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2. NRA Match Rifle – Rule 3.3, 3.3.1, with metallic sights.

For 600YD matches: Designated by class, *See Course of Fire*

For CMP/EIC Match: Service Rifle Only, CMP Rule- 6.1, 6.1.1, 6.2.1, 6.2.2, 6.2.3



Category: By NRA classification, Match & Service Rifle. A Minimum of (5) five competitors to form a class

Or category. Classes and or categories will be combined if there are insufficient shooters in a class or

Awards: Awards will be given by class and by category whenever sufficient shooters are present. One award shall

Be given for each five (5) competitors in a given class or category.



Entry Fees: Adult entry: $30.00 for 800 Agg. Matches. Junior entry: $10.00 for 800 Agg, matches

Entry fee for CMP/EIC match is $20.00 for all entries.



Target Operations: Competitors are responsible for target operations. NO target pullers are provided
