Looks like the call was heard by some. The X gun is getting a 223 chambering.

I admit I never paid that much attention to Marlin's bolt action rifles. I'm surprised it took them so long to introduce a gun in such a popular caliber. 
OT, perhaps, but I see they seem to be listing their full line of lever actions in this catalog. I wonder if this mean they are all going back into production? (For those who didn't know, most of Marlin's lever action line was pulled from production, allegedly due to horrible QC problems at the new factory)
I also noticed they list a 1800's style single-shot in .45-70 called the "Buffalo Classic Rifle". Is this a new product? I don't recall every hearing of this before. I wonder how the pricing is going to compare to other manufacturers sharps/rolling block/ect. style big bore single shot rifles?
