There are a lot of proposed Texas law changes. Here is the best list that I found.
http://amgoa.org/Proposed-Texas-Gun-Laws
(Most of them positive, but we do have some liberal islands that have to get their $.02 worth of trouble.)

Yes there are a bunch of them (that is our website) ... I add them here as we get them and I don't post the ones that really don't mean much to cut down on 'clutter'

A couple of draconian gun bills in WA have died in committee and, in theory, are dead for the session.

HB1134 / SB5050 "Assault Weapons Ban".

HB1387 / SB5444 "Assault Weapons Background Check / Licensing".

The latter was the backstop bill in case the former didn't make it. Both of these were pushed by anti-gun Attorney General Bob Ferguson.

No doubt this ugly pair will show up as a Bloomberg-backed Initiative to the people in the next election cycle.

Unfortunately many pro-gun bills died in committee as well.

I thought suppressors were already legal in Texas?

The bills you are talking about rewrite the description of suppressors taking it out of the NFA section of their law and re-adding it like this:

"a firearm silencer, unless the firearm silencer is classified as a curio or relic by the United States Department of Justice or the actor otherwise possesses, manufactures, transports, repairs, or sells the firearm silencer in compliance with federal law.

With all the hype and hysteria out of Washington DC, has there been any actual movement on any pro rights bills, especially the HPA?
Thank you for all of your hard work, sir, much appreciated.
AZ reports several pro rights bills signed into law, including two the raise a big middle finger to Bloomberg, and no anti rights bills passed.

Yup been some really great bills passed at the state level this year. I will probably do a complete list here during the summer months.

And as far as the federal government? Not so much as a peep from them about any gun legislation, they are too busy chasing 'Russian ghosts'

That's what I figured - all hype and huffing, smoke and mirrors to fool the masses. "See what we did? If we'd only had a BIGGER majority in the Senate/House we could have actually gotten it out of committee, so dig deep to donate for this election cycle!"

Too busy chasing "healthcare" and "tax" "reform" while accomplishing nothing is more like it. We're just a tiny niche interest after all, we the largest civil rights lobbying group in America, we the owners of 2X more guns than citizens (so far), we of the 50 billion dollars of annual sales drawing in every gun manufacturer on Earth like a black hole, we the insignificant 30-60% of households depending on who's asking...

Has nothing to do with the fact that hardly any of us are not tethered to one political party, regardless of their performance in this area.

Assuming that PA law is meant to be .08% as opposed to a 150% lethal dose of rot-gut, it basically invites The Man to routinely breathalyze anyone who is known to have a permit (just guessing this can be done by running plates, which really makes the scheme an invitation for abuse). It also invites future reductions, because "gun carriers are more dangerous than unarmed drunks & should be held to a higher standard" or some such.

This: HB2909 would make carry permits from all states valid in the Washington DC
of course would be fabulous but an ice-hockey game is going to break out in hell first ...
