any of you trimming 204 ruger cases? What is your setup? I am using Lee case length guage/trimmer for other calibers but Lee doesn't offer this for the 204. What do you reccommend?

Well, you're going to have to trim them eventually I betcha.

1.850" is max length, and if they grow longer then that, trim to 1.840".

It would seem your only recourse is to buy a case trimmer.

thats what i am looking for...specific trimmers, collets and cutters...what would be a good trimmer for all bottleneck cases that also offers the collets and such for 204 ruger

Most any brand trimmer (RCBS, Hornady, Lyman, etc) will include collets that will handle almost any case. Or a universal collet that handles everything.

The .204 would be exactly the same one used for the .222/.223 case for instance.

You just need to order the extra .20 pilot if the one you buy doesn't include one.

I use a Redding. It didn't ship with the .20 pilot but I called them and they shipped me one no charge. The setup works well, I hate trimming brass and deburring it....If I had to do that all the time I think I would quit shooting:barf:. I don't know how those AR guys do it all the time, I guess that is why they make the electric ones. Timming brass by hand is the pits!

Wilson trimmer is very nice I have a Forester and a Lyman also only time they get used if I trim something I don't have Wilson shell holder for
