I wasn't looking for another snub but...... a local gun shop has a special going on for a Taurus 85-2B for $209 and a S&W 637 for $327. They also have the Taurus Ultralight at $302 but since that is so close to the 637 I took it out of the running. The lightweight of the 637 is appealing for carry but $209 seems to be an even better deal.

How do .38 +P's feel thru the 637?
How do the triggers compare between these?

Any experience and thoughts on either models would be appreciated.

I have had both. I now have a S&W Model 30 32 S&W Long 6 shot revolver. It has a 3" barrel and is very comfortable in deep concealment. The Taurus was good in accuracy and bad in weight. The S&W 637 was great in weight and TERRIBLE in recoil! The triggers were heavy and creepy on both. I would buy the Taurus over the S&W. If CCW is your goal though, I would buy the S&W 637 for weight alone. I would consider if you need either one. If given a choice I would prefer a 2" M&P 38 Special from S&W.
