I saw a couple of nice Kimber bolt action .22 rifles while on a trip over Christmas. One was a $1550 stunner with a figured walnut stock. The other was its beer-budget brother, a $900 version without the great wood. The cheaper one had a target on a hangtag on the trigger guard. Five shots into around a quarter of an inch shot from 50 yards. I wondered if the expensive one wasn't expected to be fired since it didn't have a target on it.
Both had good balance and were large enough to have that "real rifle feel."
Anyone got one of these?
