.22 price increase at Wal-mart

Today I bought a brick of federal .22 like I do quite frequently. I paid $9.88 for 550 rds. Although this is a good price, it is .88 higher than I paid for it last week. I bought these last week for $9.00/550rds. Is this the dreaded price increase taking hold. If so, I think I can make it through. I buy my centerfire rounds online (usually from Graf and Sons) so I didn't pay attention to see if their prices had gone up. Have any of you seen the same increase?

They've been $9.88 or so for a while out here in Ca. They were up to over $10 for a while as I recall and dropped back down for whatever reason. They used to be under $9 for the longest time. I try to get a couple whenever I go there for anything.....which isn't very often.

Yes, especially with .45ACP and .223...not so much with 30-06 etc.

Its been $9.88 here in Pennsylvania for the last few months. Still a good deal.
