This is sort of off the topic, but I like heading over to Wally World to buy the Winchester 100-round white box target ammo "party packs." Have yet to buy a gun there.
In my neck of the woods, 100 rds of 9mm = $10, and 100 rds of .45 ACP = $19.99. Not bad!
Great cheap stuff for indoor practice when you're too lazy to reload...but I can't get the 9mm to feed in subguns reliably. But I digress.
Wal-Mart has instituted a weird policy recently (at least the store I shop at)...if you buy ammo at the gun counter, you have to cease shopping and take it out of the store ASAP (i.e., lock it up in your car first and then you can come back to finish shopping). It's not enforced uniformly. Maybe the company (or that particular store manager) is worried about the place getting shot up. Good thing he didn't spot the Colt Commander resting in my IWB holster.
