Offhand @ 100yd. Well, my gun club has a league that does that, and some of the guys are hassling me to get in on the fun.

I've recently "inherited" a nice old Winchester Model 75 which was drilled & tapped for a 'scope mount, and put a 1" diam. mount onto it.

It shoots fine with CCI Silhouette ammo, with its old 3/4" diam. 'scope. Has a nice set of swivels and a sling.

Now, what sort of 'scope do I want for this game? Size? Magnification level? Maker/model reccommendations?

Am open to any & all suggestions. Thx in advance for yr. interest.

A leupold 6.5-20 with a dot is the average scope for rimfire silhouette. However, as long as a scope has repeatable clicks it will work just fine.

Magnification would depend on how steady your hold is. Most people use a dot reticle and with target turrets (because it is nice to adjust for each of your 4 ranges).

I use a Weaver T24, which is popular on the line: not too expensive and decent quality.

Thx!

Hoser & J1133s--Thx much for your interest and prompt responses! Will take your suggestions under advisement.

Anyone else?
