.22 WMR

My two absolute best fun guns are the PMR and CMR 30 that I shoot. Not much rhyme or reason, just pure fun. There's a Henry and a Marlin in the safe for business if ever needed. Only the price of ammo prohibits much more use.

I like the round and am planning a rolling block build for a few years out (too much family stuff right now).

Also like the look of the Ray-Vin upper for the AR lower :D

I don't think they're spendy at all compared to other things I shoot (including .17 HMR for example). Love the .22 mag. Down to just one of them, though (Savage 24 DL). The PMR 30 is the funnest handgun I've ever had - would like to have another one.

I'd love it a whole lot more if the ammo didn't cost the same as factory .223 ammo. I can reload .223 for cheaper and reduce the load to get dang near close to 22WMR velocities. What I like about it is that I can use my suppressor with it where I can't use it with the .223. I bought a Ruger American Predator in 22WMR and it makes the perfect "truck gun" or walking rifle, especially when I put the suppressor on it. I can be cruising the gravel roads and see a coyote off in someone's field and put an end to it without anyone being the wiser. :)
I just bought 1000rds of .22Mag for less than $10 a box. I'd love to know where there's .223 ammo that cheap.

My first experience with a .22WMR was with a Marlin 57M lever action my father traded for when I was in high school. It was a fine shooter with its original iron sights. In deference to his aging eyes it now wears a scope. Many years later I picked up a new 10/22 magnum. I haven't shot it in a while, I'll need to bring it out again soon.
