Over the past year, I bought 1k 50gr frangible brown tip bullets from American Reloading. Load data is seemingly non-existent, although some people suggest using load data for heavier bullets since the Frangible date lighter, but longer and, therefore, will reduce case capacity.

Does anyone have experience using these projectiles in .223 loads? Thanks!

No. But I have a bunch of those bullets so I’m following.

I was just going to find a 50 grain .223 load with a powder I have and start low and work up.

From what I gathered on other forums, it is recommended to use load data for 65+ grain bullets since the frangible bullets are longer and, therefore, take up more case like the 65+ grain bullets.
