.223 ackley and .223 rem

What is the difference in the two sizing dies? I have a friend that orderd 223 al. I dont find any load data for 223 ackley in my manuals. In other words, can he use the 223 al dies to load 223 rem?

The short answer is you can only use .223 AI dies if you are loading ammo for a rifle chambered in .223 AI. If you have a .223 chambered rifle it would be like using .30-06 dies to reload for a .308 rifle. They are two different cartridges.
