Hey there:
I only shoot Remingtons. My 700 VS in .223 will shoot one hole at 100.
My 700 PSS shoots one hole at 100. I take P-dogs way past the 300 yard mark and have for many years. Reloads only. 1-14 twist. 40s and 55s.
Very light triggers and high power scopes . When it's not windy Thye have taken P-dogs at over 600 yards and some beyond that.
These are not light carry around guns if you are out for the day. But they can be managed. PSS with Bi-pod scope and all runs around 13 lbs.
They both shoot the Noslers and the Hornady V-max the same. Most groups are small clover leafs. These are hear to stay.
I prefer the lighter bullets for P-dogs , Crows ,fox, coyote. The heavier rounds will not shoot in these twist rates. I only use 1/8" dots in the scopes at 6x24 and 8x 32.
